Fol­low Leonie’s ex­pert ad­vice for mak­ing the most of Stam­pe­ria’s rice pa­per

The rice pa­per can be used on a wide va­ri­ety of sur­faces, as long as you use the cor­rect medium. There are medi­ums for ma­te­rial and porce­lain – mean­ing you can use your pa­per on clothes or glass­ware!

Rice pa­per is amaz­ing to use on fab­ric, it’s so fine and you will get won­der­ful move­ment.

As rice pa­per has a lovely trans­parency to it, it would be beau­ti­ful on a light shade, and the matt medium would be per­fect if it’s a pa­per shade. Al­ter­na­tively, you could use the tex­tile medium.

If you wish to cre­ate a 3D top­per with your rice pa­per im­age, back it onto stone pa­per. This will give your pa­per body, and al­low you to use the rice pa­per in a dif­fer­ent way.

Rice pa­per is in­cred­i­ble for fur­ni­ture. Why not try up­cy­cling draw­ers, shelves or even a ta­ble?
