I want to make a card that features a Christmas village, but I'm not sure how to go about it. Do you have any ideas?

Cardmaking and Papercraft - - Crafter’s Q & A - Jackie Rigby, Wolverhampton

Simonne says: Creative Expressions has just released a brand new stamp set called Christmas Town (ref CEC856) that includes lots of lovely images that are perfect for building a village scene. You could create a simple card by masking and stamping the images, but how about trying something a little different like an accordion card? For my card, I took a 296x148mm piece of white card and inked the top of it using Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch Distress Inks. I then flicked some water onto the inked sky using a paintbrush to create the illusion of falling snow. I scored the inked panel at 74mm, 148mm and 222mm and folded it into an accordion. The images were stamped in black ink onto some white card, coloured with marker pens and then cut out. I added a stamped tree background and some torn white card for the snow drifts before adding the coloured images using sticky fixers. Finally, I highlighted the snow using glitter glue.
