Make Ruth’s ‘flip-book’ style album and showcase precious photographs
There is a trend at the moment for displaying photos and keepsakes of special moments in mini albums. As Ruth celebrated her 30th wedding anniversary last year, she took the opportunity to create a sweet scrapbook to commemorate the occasion. She filled the book with one of their wedding photos plus three photos from over the years. The little pearls on the front cover are a nod to the fact that it is the pearl anniversary.
Tonic Studios recently released two die sets that are designed to be used together to create mini albums. Ruth made a flip-book with the die-cut shapes, but the dies can be used to create many different variations. The spine of the album is created separately, so it can be adjusted to accommodate as many photos as you like. This project uses the beautiful Sweet Nothings paper pad from First Edition to decorate the album, which complement the photos brilliantly. Ruth was also able to trim some floral sprigs from the papers to use as embellishments.
