Drink to a special birthday boy with three cards
Celebrate a special gent’s birthday with Hazel France’s three – hic! – card designs
1 Round the corners of a 148mm square white base card and the corners of a 124mm square of patterned paper. Attach brown brads to corners. Layer onto a 144mm square of wood-effect paper with rounded corners and add to base. 2 Die-cut a circle from patterned paper and attach to centre of base. Use nesting circle dies to die-cut a circular frame from wood-effect paper. Attach a die-cut circle of acetate to reverse of frame. Apply foam tape to reverse of frame. 3 Die-cut lots of small circles from coloured card. Layer onto white circles and black scalloped circles to resemble bottle tops as shown. Place circles onto centre of base and place frame on top to create a shaker panel. 4 Stamp banner outline and sentiment onto white card in black and die-cut using coordinating die. Add to centre of base to finish.

1 Use a corner rounder punch to round the corners of a 148mm square white base card. Round the corners of a 144mm square of black card and add to the base. 2 Round the corners of 140mm square of white card. Stamp different images in black to cover the panel as shown and colour using alcohol markers. Attach to the base. 3 Round the corners of an 80mm square of black card. Stamp a sentiment onto the top of the panel using VersaMark ink, apply white embossing powder and heat to set. Add the panel to the base with sticky fixers. 4 Stamp several images onto white card in black and colour using alcohol markers. Die-cut the images using the coordinating dies and attach to the centre of the base with sticky fixers as shown.

1 Transfer the bottle base template from p93 onto Kraft card and cut out. Apply brown ink around the edges. Score and fold in half to create the base. 2 Trim a cork shape from Kraft card. Ink the edges in brown and attach to the top of the bottle as shown. Transfer the bottle template from p93 onto patterned paper and cut out. Ink the edges in brown and attach to the base. 3 Print a sentiment onto Kraft card and die-cut into a label shape. Ink the edges in brown, layer onto black card and add to the base. Die-cut a small label from gold paper, layer onto black card and add to the bottom of the sentiment label. 4 Trim a chevron shape from gold paper and attach to the neck of the bottle. Trim two short strips of Kraft card and attach to the top of the base as shown. If desired, print the recipient’s age onto Kraft card and die-cut into a label shape. Ink the edges in brown,
