Escaping the heat
We’ve all had one of the best summers in living memory and for the most part we’ve enjoyed it. But there are times and places where that heat has gone way beyond what we are used to coping with. Spain, in particular, has suffered what many of us would consider extreme conditions, with temperatures getting very close to 50º Celsius! If you actually live somewhere like that, such as on the banks of the mighty River Ebro, then what can you do? Well that’s the situation that Ditch Ballard, of Ebro Mad Cats, found himself in, and he made the decision to escape the intense heat and head off to the French Pyrenees to find some cooler air and some good fishing! The end result was that Ditch found both and was soon into action with some impressive lumps up to high 40s! Scopex Squid boilies and Pinpoint Fang X’s accounted for all the fish.
