Cassien common

Carpworld - - MAINLINE -

Lake Cassien down in the far south east of France seems to be going through a good period at the moment. Scanning through the results it would seem that the fish are well on the feed and, although the banks never see the intense pressure that they once did, there have been a fair few anglers giving it their best shot on the famous lake. Big common carp used to be quite a rarity down there, so it’s good to see plenty of them coming through the ranks these days and there can be few better examples than this 21kg (46lb) beauty that was caught on the ever-reliable Scopex Squid just recently.

FRANCE: LAKE CASSIEN Cassien has been on good form recently
