We owe Agatha Christie (1 890-1976) a great debt – the world without Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot would be a sadder place! One of the best-selling authors ever, Agatha Christie lived at this spacious house in Holland Park from 19341941. It gave her room for her imagination to roam, and she wrote some of her work here, including Death On The Nile. She stayed here with second hubby Max Mallowan until war drove them out.
