M y dad was a miner and had a unique experience, which he said was the handiwork of a heavenly being.

He was working on the coalface when there was a rock fall. He felt someone push him out of the way. Shaken, he picked himself up and turned to thank his benefactor, but his colleagues were yards away. Dad put his rescue down to a guardian angel, and it’s hard to imagine how it could be anything else. From that day, our family have believed in them.
