apples 2 Golden Delicious apples 30g butter,
softened 50g ground
almonds 30g light muscovado sugar 2tbsp sultanas Finely grated zest and
juice of 1 large orange Ice cream, to serve 1 Preheat oven to 180C/ Gas 4. 2 Score around middle of each apple and remove cores with an apple corer or sharp knife. 3 Grease a baking dish with a knob of butter, then stand apples in dish. 4 Mix remaining butter with ground almonds, sugar, sultanas and orange zest. Spoon into cored apples, and pour orange juice on top. 5 Bake apples for 20-25 min until flesh is soft – check with tip of a sharp knife to see if they are tender. Cool for a few min before serving.
