Baked-bean bonkers Barry Kirk is so keen on the tinned treat that he’s opened a mu­seum de­voted to his pre­ferred pulses and changed his name by deed poll to Cap­tain Beany. In Jan­u­ary 2009, he opened the Baked Bean Mu­seum of Ex­cel­lence – now the fourth high­est-rated at­trac­tion in Port Talbot. He even has his fave food item tat­tooed on his head!
