Bespoke dentures constructed and fitted in Handforth by a qualified Clinical Dental Technician

Cheshire Life - - Towns -

Paul Keegan is a Clinical Dental Technician who owns the Cheshire Denture Clinic in Handforth. He has supplied dentures for over 30 years to the profession nationwide and has now graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh with a Diploma in Clinical Dental Technology.

A Clinical dental technician is a dental technician who has undertaken extra specific clinical training to enable them to design, create, construct, modify and fit removable dental appliances direct to patients. An important part of the role is to check on the patient’s general welfare.

Paul explains “Dentures can be problematic for patients, at the end of the day they are a prosthetic and thus require a degree of patient acceptance. We manage patients’ expectations and hone our technical and clinical skills. We are passionate about providing Quality Dentures.”

All dentures, full or partial, are constructed on the premises, by the same team of technicians that carry out your consultation, led by Paul. Sometimes patients are referred to another suitable Dental Care Professional, usually a dentist. Paul has forged a close working relationship with Dr Phillip Forman and Laburnum Dental Practice, close by to his clinic.

“We welcome dental phobic patients, or patients who haven’t seen a dentist for many years. I get as much satisfaction from referring patients back into dental care, as I do from treating them myself, safe in the knowledge they are being seen by an experienced dental surgeon.”

“I really do feel we offer a high standard of service in the best interest of the patient and can provide a pathway to better oral health.”
