Impressed with flowers

Chic & Country - - Hand Made -

Winter may be a time when nature sleeps but if you collect your favourite plants and flowers (small and wild are best) and dry them or press them, you can create your own beautiful and original botanical composition. How to do it

Place the flowers in between sheets of blotting paper. Then sandwich it all with pieces of cardboard.

Use a flower press or a pile of very heavy books! The flowers are dried in 2 or 3 weeks. They will be fragile so use tweezers to put them in position and then apply tape to keep them in place. Use a sheet of black construction paper as the background.
