If you’ve never been to the Revival, you owe it to yourself to sample it at least once. It’s a cross between a race meeting, a classic show, a retro fairground and a fancy dress party for petrolheads. Sure, the cars might outnumber the bikes, but there’s plenty of on-track action in the Barry Sheene Memorial races (on Saturday and Sunday) to keep fans of two wheels happy. Check out the atmosphere in the pit lane, too – and just revel in the fabulous party vibe that the whole event oozes. It’s the nearest thing you’ll get to a time machine.
