THE BANBURY RUN
ENJOY A STRICTLY VINTAGE ROLL THROUGH RURAL WARWICKSHIRE.
This is the highlight of the year for vintage bike fans – it’s a staggering sight as nearly 500 riders on pre1931 machinery take to the roads in a seemingly endless stream of vintage iron. Entries have closed for this year’s run, but you can still go along and revel in the sights and sounds. The autojumble is one of the happiest hunting grounds on the calendar for the veteran and vintage fan. Spectator entry to the start and jumble in the British Motor Museum grounds costs £10 on the day (£9 for children), which includes entrance to the museum itself, and there’s free parking for spectators near the entrance. Or you can just get to a good spot on the route – Sunrising Hill is a crowd favourite. banbury-run.co.uk
