A TOUCH OF CLASS
STEP BACK IN TIME AT GOODWOOD
It’s time for the petrolhead’s autumn fancy dress party that is the Goodwood Revival meeting again. If all goes to plan, John Mcguinness will make his mainland racing return (following his planned appearance at the Classic TT) at the Revival, sharing the grid for the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy races with a hatful of other superstars including Freddie Spencer, Steve Parrish, Mick Grant, Troy Corser, James Haydon, Michael Rutter and James Hillier. That alone sounds well worth the trip to the Goodwood estate.
But the whole weekend is a delight for lovers of old bikes – and cars. Linger in the pits, admire the classic metal and revel in the sights and sounds of a bygone era of motorcycle and motor racing.
