MEET ON THE MARSH
ENJOY JUMBLING AT ITS FINEST IN THE GARDEN OF ENGLAND
Organiser Julie Diplock and her team know a thing or two about putting on good bike autojumbles. So you get strictly bike-related sales only, cheap ‘garage clearance’ pitches at just £10 for a six by five metre plot – including admission for two people – a free Bike Mart area for parking bikes for sale and a spares auction starting at noon. And there’s more...
Enter your bike in the ride-in show and you could pick up one of two £25 spot prizes on offer for best classic (pre-1980) and post-classic machine. There’s a great, traditional autojumble area, too, where inveterate classic bike nomad Gordon May (who has journeyed to India, Egypt and Vietnam on his beloved Brit classics) will be on hand selling his travel books. On the other hand, if you’re into Triumph Tiger Cubs, check out Greystone Enterprises’ extensive stock of new and used parts.
The action gets underway at 10am and entry is a mere fiver. Sounds good to us. elkpromotions.co.uk
