1987 Ford Capri 2.8i

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Auction News -

What do you say about a Capri with just over 2300 miles on the clock, other than here was a trip back to a Ford dealer at the end of the 1980s? The story was fifirst-class: Lady buys Capri, doesn’t really take to it, buys another car and puts Capri in garage. Other than the annual trip to MoT test station, it’s dormant. And that long period off the road meant there was nigh-on nothing even the most picky Capri enthusiast could get hung up about. Paint, body, interior and boot were lovely, and little bit of a clean up in the engine was all that might have been needed. Some ‘experts’ were teeth-sucking at the estimate, but as the 35 grand paid showed, where can you fifind another as good as this?
