1969 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Auction News -

It’s diffificult to resist the charms of an early Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, and while there were a few wrongs to be righted on this 1969 car, it was rammed with personality, looking the part in dark metallic red over gold.

The body really wasn’t too bad and with sensible use and maintenance would probably stay in that condition if looked after. Inside it wasn’t too bad: The all-important seats (trimmed in black leather) were still very good and the door panels were the same. The wood could have done with a re-varnish bit what was really needed was new carpet in the front footwells, but these are readily available.

With bills amounting to £2300 it was a really lovely big boat bought nigh-on for buttons.
