Barons looks good for its February sale
Barons’ sale includes a one-owner 1985 Jaguar XJS V12 coupé, a 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 SS/T pick-up and a 1928 Rolls-Royce 20 that was rebodied by Coach-craft, the original Weymann body being replaced by a more rakish two-door drophead.
It’s the season opener for the well-established operation, and the early lot list already looks very interesting. The cars above are joined by a 1925 Rolls-Royce Phantom I and a 1958 Wolseley 6/90.
Wolseley 6/90s are an all-time classic design thanks to pen-man Gerald Palmer. They always fifind favour in the auction ring too – the £3500-6000 estimate for this one looks very good value indeed.
The Rolls-Royce Phantom I Tourer in the sale looks very pretty indeed, although as we closed for press, Barons had not prepared an estimate for it. Expect some very competitive bidding for it.
