Adding interest to the automotive theme of jewellery, Me and My Car has introduced a range of mechanical cufflinks that go beyond the design of engineering themes. Each type – all crafted with sterling silver and rose-gold plated details – offers moving components to bring the designs to life. ‘Piston’ recreates a V-twin engine, with pistons moved by a small steering wheel. ‘Cog’ includes three gears, the centre meshed pair moved by an external silver one. And ‘Bolt’ features a spannerstyle link holding a clear tube with free-rolling bearings inside. All of the designs are made in Birmingham and are available to order now.
