1993 Honda Beat
At launch, some pundits over here saw the Japanese-market Beat as almost a latter-day ‘Frogeye’ Sprite. Those comparisons are almost right, because the diminutive Honda had a small engine, but made up for its lack of size and cylinders with plenty of character and sheer style. This example was imported in 2000 and has covered 105,000km (65,200 miles) from new. There’s a comprehensive early service history and it is said to be in good mechanical order. Rarer than an all-too-common MX-5 and more fun.
