1961 Bristol 406
Among Bristols, the late six-cylinder cars are highly regarded, offering a driving experience quite different from that of the V8-engined successors. During the previous owner’s tenure, this 1961 406 received £44,000 of work. Owned by the vendor since 2003, it has had plenty of attention from marque specialist Spencer Lane-Jones, including an engine overhaul, a rear axle rebuild and the complete rebuilding of the one-shot lubrication system. It looks lovely in almost to-be-expected dark red.
