Cavalier Coupé at the NEC
A rare Vauxhall Cavalier MkI Coupé is to feature on the Cavalier and Chevette Club’s stand at the Practical Classics Restoration and Classic Car Show at the NEC this weekend (March 5-6).
The two-door ‘fastback’ has been restored by its owner Dave Cheal and has a striking white and blue colour scheme.
Other cars on the stand at the event include Beth Watt’s 1.3 Cavalier MkI saloon, Phil Scaife’s 1.4 Cavalier MkIII, and Fred Coombes’ Chevette HS. The Chevette was in a part restored state when it featured on the club’s stand at the 2015 show and has since been completed.
‘Club members will be carrying out work on some of the cars during the event and will be on hand to answer any questions about the cars, the work they are carrying out and joining the club,’ says spokesman Kevin Bricknall. The club will be in Hall 6/7, stand 7-148.
