More than 200 British classics will head to the birthplace of British motorsport this Sunday for a one-day gathering of Austins and Morrises.

Anyone bringing an Austin or Morris gets discounted entry to the event, which includes the chance for cars to be photographed on the track’s historic banking and an opportunity for owners to take on the grueling Test Hill.

Gates open at 9am. Austin and Morris owners are asked to take their cars to the Campbell Gate. From 1011am there’s a chance to register for a cavalcade around the Mercedes-Benz World circuit, limited to 50 cars.

Brooklands Museum says the Austin Morris Day is one of its most popular events and is anticipating a big turnout from classic owners,

‘It’s a spectacular day, which sees hoards of Austin and Morris cars and commercial vehicles congregating in and around the paddock,’ says marketing spokesman Paul Stewart. ‘As well as many individuals displaying preWWII cars, there will be Club displays from different regions, so this is a great chance to meet and chat to likeminded owners and enthusiasts coming together in one place.’
