1976 Ferrari Dino GT4
The second-generation Dino, snubbed for so long by those obsessed with its predecessor, is now a cool Ferrari and examples generate plenty of bidding. A Scottish car that had spent a decade in a heated showroom, it was presentable from a distance, but more fussy owners would attend to the paint and the interior, which needed some tidying-up and re-trimming. A thoroughly deserving example because it lacked the corrosion many suffer from, the buyer would have enough left over to refresh this good-value way into Ferrari ownership.
