Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - News -

It’s so encouraging to discover that our nation supports the preservation of classic cars. It reinforces the notion that us Brits are proud of our history and want to pass on our unique heritage to the next generation. Take 1960s cars for example. On page 25 Nick Larkin shows you just how affordable a slice of this history can be with his Top 10 Family Favourites. Any one of these 1960s icons could be yours for less than £10k. Classic car preservation is at the heart of the Practical Classics Restoration & Classic Car Show report on page 8 too. It’s heart-warming to see so many classics brought back to life by their caring owners and celebrated so well. And on the subject of big events don’t miss our essential guide to great days out, on page 44. There are some great British shows to look forward to!
