1971 Land Rover 109in Safari
While Land Rovers are a popular fixture at most classic auctions, long-wheelbase models, and Safaris in particular, aren’t a common sight. Originally owned by Romania’s Bucharest Public Order and Safety body and then used for ‘hunting’ by that country’s secret service, itl had just 899km on the clock. This was a superb example, surely one of the best Safaris to come to auction in recent years. Considering its condition, the price paid made it a great-value buy.
