1957 Citroën DS19
A lovely early example that had been restored in the 1990s, there wasn’t a great deal to complain about with this 1957 French-market example. Body and paint were fine, the exterior flaws being confined to some of the brightwork. Inside, all was good, with the light wear to the front seats hardly being anything to complain about and, if anything, adding to its charm. An appearance at the 2006 Goodwood Festival of Speed Style et Luxe was a testament to how good this car was, and it made a fine buy.
