1937 Lagonda LG45 Sedanca de Ville
Big, imposing, and definitely one of the nicest late 1930s Lagondas offered in the past few years. This car’s history went back to day one, but wasn’t complete. It was believed to have been kept by its first owner until 1954. Restored at an indeterminate date, it still looked pretty fresh both inside and out, with body panels super-straight and panel fit pretty much first-class. Inside it was a delight, being in exceptional order, while its simplicity – certainly when compared with some same-age Rolls-Royces and Bentleys – made it more appealing.
