1978 Maserati Khamsin
The beautifully clean lines of the Khamsin make the big 1970s Maserati a clearly considered and intriguing alternative to a Ferrari 412. This super-strength, trident-badged GT ticked all the right boxes. Restored by marque expert Bill McGrath between 2011 and 2014 (with bills to the tune of £30,000), the work was spot-on, combining a freshened-up body and new paint with the wholly original interior, which had lasted well. A lovely car that had so much going for it in every respect.
