rapidly the clas­sic car mar­ket has de­vel­oped and grown over the last few years and the is­sues this rate of growth Ð in terms of en­thu­si­asts and clas­sic car val­ues Ð has cre­ated. One statis­tic, which had the

as­sem­bled del­e­gates in an­i­mated lunchtime dis­cus­sion, was the com­par­i­son of the in­vest­ment re­turns of the stock mar­ket, gold, and clas­sic cars. It was re­vealed that the clas­sic cars gave on av­er­age a re­turn four times larger than stock mar­kets and dou­ble that of gold... and they are more fun!

Many peo­ple heard that clas­sic cars were a bet­ter in­vest­ment than gold, but few be­lieved it.
