1971 Ford Capri 3000E Broadspeed

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Auction News -

When it comes to V6 Capris, the Broadspeed-modified models are the stuff of legend, in many ways eclipsing the frighteningly-fast South African-built V8 Peranas. Owned by the vendor since 2004 it was restored over 10 years, ACA says. This example, based on the better-equipped 3000E, was fitted with a Webasto sunroof and the wheelarches lightly modified to accommodate deep-dished Minilite wheels, and went straight from the dealer to Broadspeed for conversion to Bullitt specification. Highly sought after among Capri enthusiasts, the estimate, taking into account currently-spiralling performance Ford values, seems more than realistic to us.
