1985 Toyota HiLux

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Auction News -

The legendary combination of build quality and reliability has cemented the reputation of Toyota’s HiLux. Unfortunately – as with W123 Mercedes-Benz models – that reliability and build quality can work against it, with many examples simply run into the ground and then thrown away. As a result of that, examples like this 1985, 19,000-milesfrom-new are extremely rare. Undersealed from new and coming not only with plenty of paperwork (including the original bill of sale) and two sets of keys, it has to be a one-off. Back in November ACA’s 40,000 miles 1992 Subaru 284 pick-up made just over £9000 and there’s no reason this Toyota shouldn’t, at the very least, repeat that.
