The wrong Toyota roadster

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Your Letters -

I read with great interest Alex Riley’s 30 March article relating to roadsters, particularly the Toyota MR2. I have owned my 2000 MR2 Roadster for six years. I love the car – it’s great fun to drive, economical, cheap to insure but, as Alex stated, not very practical. An interesting article only spoiled by the addition of the wrong photograph at the foot of the second column. That car is indeed a Toyota but it is a MkI MR2 not a Mark III Roadster.

Come on guys. I love the weekly dose of classic petrolhead heaven, but silly mistakes like that just should not happen. Mike Potter, Bridlington, East Yorkshire
