Three-club Volvo meet at Forth ‘a first’

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - News -

A special meet put on by three Volvo Clubs helped attract the original P1800 from The Saint. The gathering of more than 50 Volvos was at the Forth Bridge near Edinburgh, and it’s hoped this will be the first of regular similar get-togethers.

The Volvo Enthusiasts Club, Volvo Owners Scotland, and Volvo Tuning.Net were coorganisers of the event on 17 April.

Kevin Price of the Volvo Enthusiasts’ Club owns The Saint P1800. ‘We are aiming to get together regularly, and for this gathering to take place at a venue instantly recognisable as Scotland,’ he says.

‘This one was in a beautiful setting, and we had one entrant drive up from Portsmouth. We will be running other events in 2016 so suggest people get their cars out and join us.’
