1937 Bentley 4½-litre Sports Tourer
Starting life as a Mulliner-bodied saloon, this four-and-a-quarter was re-bodied in 1960 and was owned by outspoken politician Alan Clark until 1993, when it was sold at an auction. Clark – no stranger to splashing out financially – spent around £25,000 on the engine and suspension, making it one of the fastest ‘Derby’ models driven by a marque expert. The car has had three further owners, the vendor buying it in 2003 and covering around 15,000 miles in that time. Described as being in ‘good order throughout’ it’s definitely tempting.
