Of all the ve­hi­cles as­so­ci­ated with HM over the past 90 years, the most in­con­gru­ous has to be a pro­to­type of a po­ten­tial Mini ri­val to the Fiat 600 ‘Jolly’. Some 14 ex­am­ples of Beach Cars were made be­tween De­cem­ber 1961 and March 1962, all bar a Wolse­ley Hor­net model based on the stan­dard Austin Mini.
