Ford Zephyr Six MkII Estate

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Driven -

The Ford Zephyr was the first contemporary estate car employed by the Royal Family – although one would hesitate to describe it as a standard production model. It was commissioned to convey up to nine people around the Sandringham Estate and was apparently a great favourite of the Duke of Edinburgh as part of his ‘modernisation programme’. It has recently undergone a restoration by students at the Manchester School of Arts and Technology.
