1929 Austin 16/6
Once a regular sight around Presteigne where it worked for many years as a coal truck, ‘Blodwyn’ started life as a saloon but was converted after the war. It worked for 20 years bringing coal to homes and businesses. In beautifully worn order, with the original paint showing through the later, hand-painted layer, Blodwyn was a big draw. The story alone was heart-warming, and this was bound to sell. But who would have thought it would go so far beyond its 10 grand upper estimate?
