More tube trouble
I read with interest the 13 April letter from Brian Aldred regarding inner tubes. The same problem happened to me. When ordering new tubeless tyres for my Bentley R-type, it was recommended that inner tubes should also fitted. On two separate occasions punctures have occurred, due to the inner tubes chafing until a large hole appeared, one tube soon sticking to the inside wall of the tyre.
My local garage has now fitted tubeless valves to good effect, negating the need for further tubes. James Emery, Skendleby, Lincs
