1980 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur II
As far as an eminently usable Spur could be, this was the car. Looking good from 20 feet or so, up close the story wasn’t quite as good, with paint lifting around one of the door handles and bubbling on front and rear arches. The interior didn’t disappoint, with seat facings and all the woodwork in very smart order. It wasn’t dear, but fresh metalwork and paint would be needed in the very near future, before rectification became cost prohibitive.
