1977 Ford Fiesta Ghia 1.6 4-door
While there was plenty of attention directed at the low-mileage MkII Escort Ghia in the same sale, this posh person’s 12,000-miles-fromnew Fiesta was equally interesting and in the same condition. The light metallic gold paint was deep and lustrous and the doors opened and closed well, with no hinge-sagging that often afflicts 1970s Fords. The interior was a delight, with no signs of wear or misuse. Right down to its chrome trim rings this little saloon was lovely, making a pleasant alternative to a Metro Vanden Plas or a lesser Escort.
