I don’t know about you, but the whole Brexit issue really seems like a mess right now. We have a Government in stasis, and no effective opposition – and a vote, if you believe what you read in the papers, that no one expected.

So, with everything to do with our economy and constitution in the air, it comes as something of a relief that whatever happens – by and large – our hobby will remain unaffected. Sir Greg Knight said so last week, and went on to tell us that being out of the European Union will give the classic car movement ‘room to breathe’. I do know this – the currency fluctuation appears to be encouraging new buyers into the UK market from overseas, attracted by our ‘cheaper’ cars.

Question is – do we want to lose more classics so we can keep the economy turning over? Over to you. Keith Adams, Editor
