Will v Can v Won’t WON’T Change
The EU Roadworthiness Directive may still be implemented, either as currently planned or in a revised manner. Alternatively, we may review the existing MoT process. What is certain is that the MoT regulations will be revised in some way regardless of Brexit in the next few years. CAN Change
The impending E10 legislation may be postponed as a result of Brexit – when we leave Europe we won’t be bound by any fuel Directives unless it’s negotiated as part of our terms of exit.
Driving in Europe
Historically UK motorists required a Green Card. While we’re confident we won’t be surrounded by red tape, we don’t know what deal will be reached.
Because emissions zones aren’t administered by national government it’s unlikely we’ll see changes in their implementation or scope.
Our relationship with Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens as a world body is not governed or determined by Europe. Brexit will therefore have no effect.
