Celebri­ties join E-type char­ity drive

Nu­mer­ous mo­tor­ing celebri­ties are gear­ing up to sup­port a fund-rais­ing event aim­ing to raise £50,000 for Prostate Can­cer UK.

More than 100 Jaguars, in­clud­ing one driven by ex-F1 team boss Ross Brawn, are booked to take part in the E-type Round Bri­tain Coastal Drive, con­sist­ing of 18 stages over a to­tal of 4000 miles. Cars will be flagged off from Good­wood on 12 Septem­ber by Derek Bell MBE and fur­ther sup­port will come through so­cial me­dia from AC/DC singer Brian John­son, Jeremy Clarkson and Martin Brun­dle.

The tour will visit sig­nif­i­cant lo­ca­tions in Jaguar’s his­tory in­clud­ing Black­pool, where the com­pany was orig­i­nally founded, and Cromer, birth­place of E-type de­signer Mal­colm Sayer, be­fore re­turn­ing to Good­wood again on Thurs­day 29 Septem­ber.
