Ace coned off

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - This Week -

Anti-social behaviour around the Ace Café has led to bollards being installed outside. The devices were erected at 1.5-metre intervals on pavements on sections of the old North Circular near the café by Brent Council.

They are expected to curb behaviour by preventing people from parking on pavements near the café to partake in events. A Brent Council spokesperson says: ‘ These safety measures were developed in consultation with the Police, TfL, and the Ace Café to discourage the dangerous driving and anti-social behaviour that has been taking place and to reduce the risk of accidents. These proposals were well received during the consultation process with no objections, and early indications are that the scheme has been effective.’ ❚ www.ace-cafe-london.com
