Bo’ness hill­climb aims to go high

A record num­ber of clas­sic cars are ex­pected at this year’s Bo’ness Hill Climb and Mo­tor­ing Her­itage Week­end.

Or­gan­is­ers are aim­ing for 350 cars, eclips­ing the pre­vi­ous best of 220. It will take place in the grounds of Kin­neil House, Bo’ness, Scot­land on 3-4 Septem­ber. Kenny Baird, chair­man of the Bo’ness Hill Climb Re­vival Com­mit­tee, ex­plains: ‘Mak­ing a slight change to the track lay­out helped ex­tend the dis­play and trade area to about three times its pre­vi­ous size.’ More than 110 cars are com­pet­ing in­clud­ing a 1913 Vaux­hall.
