Bell’s recordbreaking 928
An ex-Derek Bell factory prototype Porsche 928 has broken the record price for one sold at auction. The 1987 model set a new world record on 7 October at Bonhams’ Zoute sale. It fetched £228,593. It is one of only five prototype Club Sports built for Porsche’s factory drivers – this model was first owned by the five-time Le Mans winner – and is believed to be one of only three to have survived.
