Jaguar takes centre stage

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - This Week -

Jaguar has been chosen as the principal marque for one of the 2017 Stratford Festival of Motoring’s major displays.

A Jaguar display will fill Wood Street in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire for the festival, being held over the May Bank Holiday on Sunday 30 April and Monday 1 May 2017.

‘We have already been promised a number of interesting Jaguars to display and we know from previous festivals that our usual entrants between them have a very varied collection of Jaguars which together will make a superb display from our local car manufacturer,’ says Tony Merrygold of the festival team.

However, Merrygold is quick to point out that non-enthusiasts of Jaguars will have more than enough to see.

‘Having Jaguar as our featured marque doesn’t exclude non-Jaguar owners from the festival as Wood Street only accounts for about one-eighth of the allocated space for entire event,’ he adds. Registration for the festival will start online in December.
