CAMBRIDGE OXFORD OWNERS’ CLUB

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - This Week -

‘We as a club committee feel this is a very dangerous and bad idea. Once old cars do not need MoTs, their use could easily become restricted. If an accident involving a classic car occurred the press could pick up that it did not have an MoT and call for them to be banned. The public outcry would be devoid of fact, yet full of emotion, and could lead to 'our' cars' use being restricted on safety grounds. It is potentially the most serious threat to our hobby.'
